NASA FRAUD JOHN MATHER AND HIS CHAIN OF COMMAND

Research ethics matter immensely to the health of the scientific enterprise. Anyone who thinks differently should seek employment in another sphere.
Nature editorial, 11 January 2006
[In a fine example of intellectual imposture, Nature editors remained silent on the John Mather fraud.
At any rate, according to this view, John Mather’s Goddard bosses up the line should look for jobs elsewhere. A lateral transfer to SEC may be an idea: Nothing much to do there – men of inaction would fit right in.
NASA will be saved – and SEC will be none the worse off.]

Terrible exemplary “justice” was meted out publicly to science frauds Victor Ninov and Jan Hendrik Schön. And all the sanctimonious science editors were going after them like Energizer Bunnies.
John Mather committed far grander fraud with the grandest possible implications. Now these very same editors have suddenly lost their voice. Mather’s Goddard cronies are covering for him and boosting him in as many ways as they can. I have never understood why people such as these came into science. No wonder the science they are doing is garbage.
I am recording here as much of this as I can.
