Folks, in my earlier post on Dr. Dipak Das, I had posted a link to his written response to the 60,000 page allegation against him by University of Connecticut officials.
As you know, a summary of that 60,000 page report was posted on the Internet and then for some reason, pulled. It is not to be found anywhere on the Internet.
The response letter of Dr. Das had been uploaded by CT Mirror on their web site, after distorting the name of U Conn official Leonard P. Paplauskas, possibly to keep that name out of the search engines. I posted the link to that CT Mirror item in my earlier post. But that link no longer works. I do not know if this is a temporary glitch or something else.
Luckily, I had suspected that something fishy might have been going on, and had saved a copy of Dr. Das’s response. It is a public response to a very public allegation. The public deserves to have it available and to read it. However, if Dr. Das’s estate objects, I will pull it.
For now, here it is (pdf file):
You should read it, and also my earlier post. There may be a lot more going on here than meets the eye.
